My boss is So Stupid...........

I have a sinus cold and am on strong antihistemines. This makes my mouth extremely dry! After I was on the Sales floor for 2 hours and had closed with my customer. I was heading to the breakroom to get a drink and "wet my whistle".

On the way back I was stopped by my boss. She and our Buying agent had noticed that I was "Whispering". Our Buyer is a 22 year old Grad student that uses us as her production models for her study groups. I guess the most recent chapter she had crack dealt with Deceptive behavior in business. Guess What!!!! Whispering is a deceptive behavior.

I was approach by my Boss, who was armed with this grand piece of knowledge. I was informed that I was displaying "criminal" like behavior!

She never asked me "Why are you whispering?"

When I worked at the philadelphia naval shipyard. MY boss and I, had to go to a high level meeting, with all the top managers. Before the meeting started, A general foreman shouts out... hay Joe remember when we where in high scool and you would cheat off of me ... you even copied my name. MY supervisors face turned beet red .... That was the last time we went to any meetings together!!!!

My company is run by my boss and his wife. They are exactly one person short of being a real live 3 stooges. They NEVER think about or realize the consequences of their ill fated little ideas. I actually suggested to the wife that to save money on goods, that we take live tuna fish and feed them mayonaise, without missinsg a beat she says.."would that work" I thought she was just joking back with me, no she was serious. We have a industrial convection oven six inches away from the wall, still it took my boss 2 days to try to piece together why there may be torch marks on the wall behind the oven, he actually said.."maybe it's the blender", I swear guys I couldn't make this stuff up. I could go on for hours....days even.

My boss is a good 'postman'.

He is a department head of 15pax. He has no autonomy and does not dare to make decision. For every single simple thing, he will have to seek his boss (Our GM) for direction. Which sometimes make out lives at work very very difficult.

He pleases our GM in every single way. He is a 'maid' always ready to serve our boss in anyway. Even things that is obviously not our job, for example admin work, he will take it up and not challenge back. Anyway, he is not the one doing it.

Today's incident is classic. When I'm having a 'forbidden' coffee break. I saw my boss was also there. Thinking that I will be 'safe' since he's also having his break, so we seat together. However, when we go back to the office, he told be that our policy is not allowed to have coffee breaks! Isn't this funny when he is having his own coffee break too! How can I work for such boss? STUPID BOSS, EXCELLENT POSTMAN!
