Putty for PDA and MDA

19.11.2006 20:17 | Author: Eduard Hlava | Topic: Remarks | Permalink

It's great to be still online. And not only for reading your emails or browsing your favorite websites. I use MDA Compact which is PDA and cell phone in one device. And time to time I need to check one of our servers. Sometimes I need to ping a server, at another time I want to check domain (nslookup) or check use traceroute.
So, I've found a great tiny application for all purposes I mentioned above. It's PocketPutty, or if you want, Putty for pocket PC (PDA, MDA).

It's easy to use. You must connect to a linux server with telnet or ssh connection using Pocket putty and then you can use any command you are used to use.

Putty for Pocket PC you can download from its homepage here.
